CherryPure® is a freeze-dried blend of tart cherries, Prunus cerasus, from Montmorency County, which is located in the north of the state of Michigan.
The humid temperate climate characteristic of its growing area (Fruit Belt) guarantees the unique characteristics of tart cherries, as it favors the production of an antioxidant blend, in addition to the distinctive color and flavor of this fruit.

As Montmorency cherry trees, a species native to Europe and Asia, they are named after the Montemorency Valley, a region near Paris, where they have been found since the 17th century. Today they are found mainly in the United States, Canada and Europe, in the fruit belt, where the climate is ideal for growing them.
As fruits, they usually ripen at the end of June, just two months after the tree blooms in spring.
The sweetest cherries are best eaten fresh, while the tart cherries are often used in pies and jams. Extracts of this fruit, in turn, have become known and used for their practical administration and year-round benefits.
