MOBILEE® (BIOIBERICA)

Source of hyaluronic acid

Obtained from the rooster's crest

Is a patented natural ingredient obtained from the crest of the chicken, consisting of hyaluronic acid (60 - 75%), hydrolyzed collagen (5%) and polysaccharides (10%).

It is produced by Bioiberica, a Spanish company and market leader in active ingredients for the joint.

It has been evaluated in more than 10 scientific studies, demonstrating its ability to increase the synthesis of endogenous hyaluronic acid by 10x, as well as decreasing inflammatory cytokines such as PGE2.

Joint health

The joint is essentially made up of type II collagen, which has a structural function, and polysaccharides (glycosaminoglycans - GAGs) such as hyaluronic acid (HA), chondroitin, glucosamine and dermatan sulphate, which are fundamental components for joint health. HA, in particular, is primarily responsible for joint lubrication, due to its viscoelastic properties, which promote lubrication and help absorb impact, and is important for ensuring flexibility, mobility and protection for the ends of bones.

With physiological ageing, also known as senescence, the synthesis of GAGs and collagen gradually decreases. This contributes to wear and tear and joint damage which, in turn, can lead to inflammation and pain, impacting on quality of life by interfering with the individual's physical independence.

Similarly, practicing high-impact physical activities or those with excessive repetitions is associated with a higher incidence of wear and tear and reduced joint lubrication. This can affect 2 out of every 5 adult exercisers, making it difficult to perform activities properly and favoring the appearance of injuries.

During the menopause, hormonal changes can also promote joint degradation, affecting around 84% of women during this period, causing discomfort and increasing the likelihood of developing diseases such as arthritis, arthrosis and osteoarthritis.

For this reason, it is important to adopt strategies aimed at replenishing and stimulating the endogenous synthesis of glycosaminoglycans, especially hyaluronic acid, in order to prevent and maintain joint health.
