Neuravena® is a natural active ingredient obtained from a specific variety of wild green oat(Avena sativa L.), chosen for its superior biological activity.
It is standardized at 0.3% isovitexin (a flavonoid with antioxidant characteristics), as well as being composed of other potent bioactives, such as avenanthramides and saponins, which act synergistically to provide all the product's benefits.
Its production process is totally exclusive and distinctive: it has been studied for over 15 years and specially developed to guarantee the unique composition of Neuravena®, which is responsible for the product's effectiveness.
The oats used are grown under controlled conditions, planted in the fall and harvested just before full bloom in the spring, providing a unique composition of bioactives.

Oats have been cultivated for over 2,000 years BC. It is a cereal widely grown in temperate regions of the world. Today, its largest producer is Russia, which is responsible for producing around 4,000 tons of oats every year.
Oats have been used since medieval times for various metabolic activities through flavonoids, in particular isoorinetin and isovitexin, as well as saponins, including avenanthramides. In Brazil, oats have been cultivated since the 15th century and are sold in the form of flakes, bran, flour and grains.
It is a cereal widely consumed due to its high nutritional value, being a source of fiber (soluble - β-glucans), proteins, vitamins and minerals. In 2000, ANVISA recognized oats as a food with functional properties, which increased interest in scientific research into them.
