INSTENSYL® (SILAB)

New fourth-generation tensor - immediate facelift

Cross-linking technology

is a biopolymer obtained from cassava sugar (Manihot esculenta), developed by Silab (France) using cross-linking technology. This innovation generates a three-dimensional polymer with a molecular weight of approximately 74,000 Da, highly stable, articulable and flexible, which adheres quickly to the skin's microrelief, forming a tightening film with an immediate effect.

Its viscoelastic structure guarantees uniform spreading, high adhesion to the ceramides of the stratum corneum and instant smoothing action, repositioning the skin and attenuating signs of fatigue and wrinkles immediately after application.

Composition

INSTENSYL® is described as a highly versatile active ingredient suitable for various skin types and multiple areas: the face, eye contour, and body. It can be used in primers, gels, gel-creams, creams, and lotions to provide an immediate tightening effect, pore treatment, a matte finish, and wrinkle reduction; it is also ideal for formulations focused on rejuvenation and delivering an instant "WOW effect" for the consumer.

As a new fourth-generation tightening agent, INSTENSYL® complements Galena’s portfolio of anti-aging actives with a highly sensory appeal: it delivers a lifting effect perceived within minutes, based on a plant-derived cassava biopolymer and high-standard technology from Silab (France). It is ideal for premium skincare formulas, pre-makeup primers, and facial treatments that promise immediate results, all while maintaining a lightweight texture and comfortable application.
