Nutricolin® contains orthosilicic acid stabilized in choline.
There are various chemical forms of silicon, but in order to be absorbed by the body, it needs to be stabilized with an organic molecule such as choline. Nutricolin is therefore considered to be the most bioavailable form of stabilization on the market.
It has technical-scientific documentation evaluated and approved by ANVISA as a bioactive substance, a source of silicon, endorsing its safety of use.
Silicon is derived from the Latin Silex or Silicis, which means "stone". It is the second most abundant element in nature and is found in combination with other chemical elements.
It is present in a variety of foods such as vegetables, cereals, fruit and liquids such as water.
In the body, silicon represents the third chemical element, making it an essential element in human metabolism at different stages of life.
Orthosilicic acid
choline
Silicon is present in our bodies as orthosilicic acid and is essential for different structures. Choline, considered a B-complex vitamin, works synergistically with orthosilicic acid to promote absorption.
Studies show that silicon plays an essential role in skin, hair and nails, in the synthesis of the 3 beauty proteins, collagen, elastin and keratin, promoting skin firmness, hair resistance and shine, and strengthening nails.
It plays a fundamental role in the formation of bone and connective tissue, making it extremely important to replenish it.
